This safari offers an exciting experience in Northern Tanzania’s famous national parks followed by a relaxing stay in Zanzibar. After experiencing Tanzania’s diverse wildlife and landscapes, you can unwind on Zanzibar’s beautiful beaches, explore vibrant coral reefs, and enjoy stunning inland views.

Day 1: Arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport & Transfer to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are warmly welcomed by our guide cheerfully. The guide will escort you to your hotel for a relaxation ready start to your trip. The following day, you embark on an exclusive, private safari, enjoying the freedom to explore at your own pace in a private jeep, with ample time to observe the wildlife.

Day 2: Arusha National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll be picked up by your guide for your first game drive, starting with a walk alongside an armed ranger. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, which lies at the base of Mount Meru, known for its diverse habitats including forests, home to black-and-white colobus monkeys, and lakes often hosting flocks of flamingos. The park’s appeal lies in its stunning scenery, from montane rainforests to alpine moorlands, making it excellent for birding. After the game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for a delicious dinner.

Day 3: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The Park is famous for its ancient baobab trees, which dwarf the animals around them, and the Tarangire River, which attracts a wide range of wildlife including birds, lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and notably, the largest concentration of elephants in the country. The lunch area offers an observatory with stunning views of the river and wildlife, providing a unique opportunity to witness a hunt while enjoying your picnic. In the afternoon, another game drive is planned before continuing your journey.

Day 4-5: Northern Serengeti 

You’ll start your day early with breakfast, then drive to the Northern Serengeti near the Mara River to witness the Great Migration. Your safari guide will help you find the best viewing spot. The Great Migration, which occurs from July to early October, is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals crossing the crocodile-filled Mara River to reach the Masai Mara in Kenya.

Day 6: North Serengeti to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, you will leave the lodge with lunchbox for half day game drive . In the early afternoon, you will then have your lunch before starting a drive to Central Serengeti. Along the way, you will have an en-route game drive.

You will arrive the arranged accommodation in the evening where you can unwind, relax, have dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, carrying lunch boxes. Following the game drive, you’ll be transferred to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world’s largest uninterrupted caldera and one of Africa’s Natural Wonders, hosts around 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as various birds like flamingos, eagles, and buzzards, offering abundant wildlife sightings in a short time.

Day 8: Karatu to Arusha Airport for Flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast, you’ll relax at the lodge and, if time permits, take a short shopping tour in Karatu town. Then, you’ll transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, a driver will provide a private transfer to your hotel in Stone Town.

Day 9: Transfer from Stone Town to Beach Hotel in Zanzibar Island

After breakfast, you’ll tour Zanzibar’s Stone Town with a local guide, exploring its narrow streets and residential houses that showcase original Swahili-Omani architecture, including carved doorways, metal studs, balconies, and latticed windows. You’ll see continental churches alongside numerous mosques commissioned by historical Sultans of Zanzibar and visit other intriguing sites. The day will conclude with a transfer to your beach hotel.

Day 10-12: Relaxation at the Beach

The following days will be dedicated to relaxing at the Villa Kiva Beach Resort, where you’ll have the opportunity to fully enjoy Zanzibar’s best beaches. You’ll experience spectacular sunsets, palm-fringed shores, turquoise waters, and vibrant coral reefs.

Day 13: Transfer from hotel to Zanzibar Airport

You will enjoy the remaining hours of the tour before departing from the resort to Zanzibar Airport. On the way to the airport, you can stop in Zanzibar’s Stone Town to buy some souvenirs. This marks the end of our tour.
