This 6-day luxury+ safari showcases the best of Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit. Encounter diverse landscapes and incredible wildlife—from monkeys in lush forests to lions in trees, elephants among acacias, and abundant animals within a volcanic crater. You’ll also explore the iconic Serengeti, known for its stunning scenery and unforgettable wildlife experiences.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

You will be picked up from the airport by company representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha where you will stay overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come. Gran Melia is a luxury hotel of calm and aesthetic pleasure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

In the morning, you will be collected from your lodge in Arusha by your personal safari guide. You will set out for Tarangire National Park on a good tarmac road across gently rolling Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees. You will pass many Maasai in their colourful dress walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts. Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds and a multitude of other creatures. From the open roof of your state-of-the-art safari jeep, you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna, and life-giving Tarangire River. You will encounter a multitude of creatures, from zebras to wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and giraffes, to name a few. It is possible to also see lions stalking prey or leopards watching, relaxing in the trees above.
You will drive to one of our carefully selected luxury partner lodges for dinner in a tasteful restaurant, a pool at hand to soothe us, and a most capacious.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

In the morning, you will be collected from your lodge in Arusha by your personal safari guide. Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Today, you’ll immerse yourself in the Serengeti National Park, renowned for its vast plains and rich wildlife. The Serengeti’s highlight is the wildebeest migration, where over a million wildebeest, along with zebras and gazelles, create a spectacular scene as they traverse the plains. Accompanied by your private guide, you’ll search for these herds and other wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. For a unique perspective, you might have an option of balloon safari, which offers a breathtaking view of the wildlife from above, available at an extra cost.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning, you’ll drive from the Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater, a unique collapsed volcano with a diverse ecosystem. Descend into the crater to witness its spectacular landscapes and high concentration of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and rare black rhinos—ideal for spotting all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and Ngorongoro Crater is celebrated as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. You can have an option to enjoy various activities in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, including a visit to a Maasai village.

Day 6: Transfer from Karatu to Arusha

After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, depending on your flight time, for your onward journey. This marks the end of your service.
