The 7 Day Tarangire Serengeti Ngorongoro Crater & Materuni Waterfall Safari is an unforgettable journey through Northern Tanzania’s most iconic destinations. This safari combines exceptional wildlife viewing with cultural exploration, offering the perfect balance between adventure and discovery.

From Tarangire’s elephant herds and Serengeti’s endless plains to the dramatic Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara’s tree-climbing lions, each day reveals new wonders. The itinerary concludes at Materuni village near Mount Kilimanjaro, where you’ll visit a stunning waterfall and enjoy a traditional coffee tour with the Chagga people.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our driver and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. This is your time to relax and prepare for your 7 day Tanzania safari adventure.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, vast herds of elephants, and tree-climbing pythons. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue your afternoon game drive where you may spot lions, leopards, giraffes, and countless bird species.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

Your journey continues to the legendary Serengeti National Park, home to the Big Five and the spectacular Great Migration. Enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains before heading to your camp.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Start the day with a sunrise game drive in Serengeti before driving to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy en-route wildlife sightings and arrive at the rim of the crater for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full Day Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater

Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and home to about 30,000 animals. Here you’ll have excellent chances to spot lions, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, and hippos in their natural habitat.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park

Today you’ll explore Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, huge flocks of flamingos, and diverse birdlife. With its lush forests, alkaline lake, and open savannahs, this park is a photographer’s paradise. In the evening, transfer back to Arusha for overnight.

Day 7: Arusha – Materuni Waterfall & Coffee Tour

End your journey with a cultural highlight at Materuni Village, located at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Hike to the spectacular Materuni Waterfall, enjoy a Chagga traditional lunch, and take part in an interactive coffee-making experience before being transferred to the airport or your hotel in Arusha.
